The Pronliler has befen advised by the High Commissioner for New Zea>land as follows:—iMr BOetorys, Oontroller, now advises that it is proposed to fix the maximum price of New Zealand hemp at £1 per ton higher tihan the figures tefone mentioned. Tow is to have fixed prices as follows: No 1. £59 per tow; No. 2 £56; No. 3 £54.-
Levin and Co. have received ,i cablegram to the effect£ that the Imperial Government has fixed the maximum prices of hemp in London at: Goodfa i." £84 iper ton; high fair £80: tow, fair £81. The prices are e.i.b. at I.rndon; w.ir insurance paid i\v supplier.
