Upon this may hinge the whole outcome of the war. Well, almost everyone can help in one way by glowing something useful. Vegetables, such as artichokes, swedes, carrots, parsnips, onions, beet land the best keeping varieties of pumpkins and squashes are easily grown, and if properly stored will keep right through the winter. By using more of these wo will reduce our cost of living as we need not use so mudh meat and imported foods. There undoubtedly will be a great dem'and for live stock and meat when the war ends to replace the depleted herds of (Europe. AVe should increase our herds in iNew Zciland so as to be ready for this.
