Messrs Dalgety and Company report having held their weekly sale- at Levin last Tuesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle which met with a ready sale, the tone of the market being much improved. Quotations: Fat wethers 38s 7d to 40s, fat and forward wethers 34s to 35s 6d, forward wethers 34s to 35s Gdetaoin forward empty ewes to 23s Bd, woolly lamibs 16s 9d to 22s 6d, shorn lambs 14s, ewe in lamb 20s 7d to 325, cull ewe-s 12s 3d; light fat cows to £10 4si, vea.lers to £5 ss, 2-yr steers £10, empty store cows £5 'Ids to £7 3s, yearling heifers £3 lGs to £4 Cs.
