FIEtLD-MiAiRS'HAL. IMG'S MESSAGE TO LABOR. Field-Marshal Sir 'Douglas 'Haig has sent the following letter to Mr Ben Til lett:— General Headquarters, British Army, in France, Dec. 22, 1916. Dear Mr Tillett, —Thank you very much for your letter of good wishes. You can tell 'Labor at Home that the best of all Christmas presents that they can make their comrades in the field is the assurance that so far as in them ' lies nothing during the coming year shall hinder the regular, constant, and increasing output of munitions and material. The workers have don© splendidly in the past; we look for even greatei efforts in the future. If the men and women workers at home and tho troops in the trenches pull together, the triumph of our cause is certain. With every good wish, believe me, yours truly, - D. HAIG.
