A Song
Adapted from "'Rose of Joy" Cantata. (To be sung in Levin, by some youthful soldiers at the Belgian Concert on Thursday next). March ! march 1 march! away to France we go l , We mean to fight the German fiends and beat poor Belgium's foe. And tho' the foe may frighten, Hope our way shall brighten Till all of us come marching hmoe. March I * march! march 1 the Austrian soon will yield; We'll quickly spoil Ins little game and drive him off the field; And then the Turks we'll frighten Allies holies we'll brighten, •Ere all of us come inarching home. March 1 march! march! away to France we go, To beat the Austrians, Turks and Huns and cause them bitter woe, For vict'ry shall be ours, boys, Anzacs ne'er can fail, boys, And then we'll all come marching home. —»■■■■«■■■ iiiinnij
