Wakatipu Golf Opening Postponed Until Sunday
The opening day of the Wakatipu Golf Club was postponed last Sunday because of doubtful weather. However, prospects for the event are good and if the weather is kind next Sun-, day, a good crowd is expected to be present. The club has been in recess for six or seven years, but in the last 12 months club members have been spending much time in bringing the course into good order. The course and greens at the present time are in good condition and: have already been used by tourists. The club looks forward to a good season and expects that the course will be popular with tourists as well as local members.
