WINTER SHOW
Special efforts are being made this year by the Otago Agricultural - and Pastoral Society to make the centennial Winter Show an outstanding success, but, unfortunately, the space available prohibits any expansion, of the shows of previous years. The form of presentation of the exhibits, however, will be varied to some extent, and a number of innovations will be included this year; The show will be opened on Friday, June 4, by Sir Patrick Duff, the British High Commissioner in New Zealand, and it will close on June 9. Although the entries for most of the numerous sections do not close until May 19, the preparations for the show are now well in hand.
