Wanaka Bowling Club Presentation of Trophies
The Wanaka Bowling Club held a dance in the Wanaka Hall on the evening of Friday, April 16. During the evening the trophies that had been won during the season were presented by Mr W. Studholnle in the unavoidable absence of the president and vice-president. The following trophies were presented:
Ladies’ Singles Championship, Mrs H. Halliday; runner-up, Mrs J. Perrow. Ladies’ Championship Pairs, lead, Mrs A. C. Paterson, skip, Mrs H. Halliday. Men’s Senior Championship, J. Perrow; runner-up, A. Campbell. Men’s Junior Championship, J. Walsh; run-ner-up, E. Richmond. Music for the dance was supplied by McNamara’s Band, Cromwell.
