Good Fishing at Matukituki River
Anglers met with some success at the mouth of the Matukituki river on the week-end of the 11th. Several quinnat salmon were landed, the fish averaging about. 12 pounds in weight.
Rainbow trout and a number of the small land-locked salmon Were also
caught
The whitebait continue to run freely and more nets are in evidence this year than ever before.
