WEATHER

Wanaka At the beginning of the week the weather was cold, with snow round the hills, but the past few days have been warm and fine and there is only a light skiff of snow on the mountain tops in the back country at present. The evenings have been cool and light frosts have been recorded.

CROMWELL The weather in Cromwell has been decidedly colder with river fogs in the mornings and lower temperatures throughout the day.
