Reid, c Marshall, b McKechnie, 9; Nedhan, c Marshall, b McKechnie, 0; P. Johnston, c McKechnie, b Partridge, 40; Kane, b Pell, 14; Mcphie, b Brittingham, 3; Urquhart, b Brittingham, 36; B. Drake, Ibw Brittingham, 4; Todd, b Brittingham, 17; B. Gillespie, b Anderson, 2; Cannon, b Brittingham 0; Rowley, b Anderson, 1; Rollins, not out, 0. The last three wickets fell quickly for three runs. P. Johnston’s innings was a bright one, knocking up three 6’s, four 4’s along with the odd single and a two. Todd too, opened well with a four followed by a six. When we turned the page to see how Queenstown faced the Hawea team, the only six on record was made by G.
