Warning to Motorists Of Headlight Check TRAFFIC INSPECTOR’S COMMENT

The traffic inspector for the district, Mr Wilkinson, has advised the “ Mail ”, that in the near future a check will be made on all headlights. Prosecutions may result from incorrect focus, failure to dip or any other lighting faults. Mr Wilkinson said that defective lights are often the cause of fatal accidents. The check to be made will be a strict one. Similar checks will be carried out in other districts at the same time.
