Regatta Draws Large Crowd to Queenstown
The Queenstown Regatta, held last Saturday, once again proved its popularity as the major Easter sporting event of the district, by the many spectators, who showed keen interest in each event and entries, too, were greater than last year.
The weather was fine in the morning and events were run off to time. At about the ninth event, however, the sun disappeared and a slight wind came up.
