RETURNS OF LAND Every person arid company, whether a taxpayer or not, being the owner of land in New Zealand within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and Regulations thereunder is hereby required to furnish on or before April 9, 1948, in the prescribed form, a return of such land as at 12 noon on March 31, 1948, where the total unimproved value, as assessed under Valuation of Land Act, 1925, exceeds £SOO. Returns are to be addressed' as. follows: — Companies: To Superintendent of Branch office of Land and Income Tax Department where the company’s records arc filed. Individuals, Partnerships, Syndicates and Trusts: To Commissioner of Taxes, Wellington, C.3. Any person failing to furnisS a return at the prescribed time is liable to a penalty up to £IOO.
