His Worship the Mayor, Mr William Partridge, in discussing the telephone service at New Zealand Railways Road Services office, said that from 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. it was almost impossible to be connected to the railways or the road services by telephone. At the present time these offices are connected by a party line. It was decided to communicate . with the bus requesting him to have a separate public telephone installed at the bus office.
