In connection with accommodation for competitors for the New Zealand Championships, the president advised that all hotels and 'boardinghouses had been approached and an excellent response had been received from them guaranteeing accommodation during the period of the championships. Considerable discussion ensued regarding the installation of a telephone and after letters had been read from the War Assets Realisation Board and tin* postmaster, Queenstown, the secretary was instructed to write to the postmaster asking if it were • possible to have some sort of a telephone installed handy to the fields and which would not involve the club in too much expense. A booklet in connection with the New Zealand Championships which had been drawn up by Mr Cochrane and a subcommittee was unanimously approved by. all members present. It was decided that 3000 of these booklets be printed and that 1500 of them be sent to clubs in New Zealand, 1000 to the Tourist Department for distribution amongst various New Zealand agencies and 500 to be sent overseas.
