3ROMWELL On Sunday nigh t Pearson played \ustin in the semi-finals of the singles •liampionships, Pearson winning. This neans that the finals will be played between Pearson and T. del ley, the )ther semi-finalist,• and should prove a natch of interest, to bowlers. WOMEN’S BOWLING Last Tuesday night the finals of the Women's Singles Championships were ilayed on the Cromwell green. The Singles Championship was won by Miss £err who played Mrs Dickinson in he finals. KANAKA LADY BOWLERS The following,,\Vanaka lady bowlers ntend to travel to Ranfurly this week .o compete in the champion rinks and lairs, Mesdamcs A. McKegg, T. Anderon,' F. Forth and Miss Jopp while drs H. Holliday will represent Wanaka n the champion of champions. VANAKA Two games were played for the ’airs Buttons on the Wanaka Bowling jrcen last week. In the final game v,. Campbell and W. Robertson defeated . Perrow and J. Gardiner 26—*-18 and n the second game J. Perrow and M. /filler defeated J. Walsh and W. tobertson 26—16.
