Mr and Mrs J. Jenkins left Arrow on Saturday morning for the south. Mr and Mrs J. Haig and Mr and Mrs T. Haig and family, of Lauder, returned to Arrow on Tuesday last. Recent guests at the Royal Oak Hotel, Arrowtown, include the first American touring group to visit New Zealand since the war as under: — Mr and Mrs Roger Wheeler (Boston, Mass.), Mr and Mrs Bertram Holst (Boone, Iowa), Miss Bertha Steele (Wankegau, Illinois), Mrs Lilian Mason (Brooklie, Mass.), Miss Alminie Tripp (New Bedford, Mass.), Mr Henry Barry (Passaie, Ncav Jersey), Mr Fred Bull (New York), Dr Frank Birch (Minneapolis), Mr D. S. Starr (Seattle). Other guests are as follows; Mr Roy Claridge (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs Hartley and Mr Hartley jun.
