Whil® a detailed history of all the meeting® would serve no purpose, it is worthy of record that we should recall •om® of tha horses of bygone days which BUkd® their appearance on the Cromwell Mura® and later achieved notable fame,
both in the Dominion ami further afield. Undoubtedly, the most famous of all horses to have run at Cromwell was The Wizard, - whose name was most appropriate. The Wizard’s record is unique in the annals of racing in this part-of the globe.
