First Rabbit Skin Sale For 1948 Season.
Dalgety and Go., Ltd. held their first sale of rabbit skins for the 1948 season last Wednesday when about 10 tons were submitted. There was a good demand for all grades and descriptions and competition was fairly well spread. A heavy weight of milkys, summers and broken was forward, and these grades on the average showed little change on late rates. Runners and racks appreciated consider ably and on the catalogue were 2s to 3s dearer. A few prime racks and springs were also offered and sold at satisfactory prices.
