CAMPERS LEAVING
Bihne campers have been leaving Central Otago during the past week. A few have found the heat too great for comfort, but most are returning to their homes to restart work.
Hotels and boarding houses at Queenstown, however, are still booked out for some time and it is evident that the tourist season has by no means ended.
When interviewed by the “ Mail.” campers expressed appreciation of t ,r, c fact that Queenstown shorn were permitted to remain onen for several hours each nipht. This fravo them ample time to pvrhase supplies and allowed them to tak" advantage of daily launch and bus excursions.
