FEDERATED FARMERS
A well attended meeting of the Upper Clutha • branch of Federated Farmers was held at Luggate in December.
Details of the Federation’s Meat Pool scheme were discussed and the action taken by the executive in connection therewith was duly approved.
Local fares on the New Zealand Railroad service cars were also discussed and members were of the opinion that fares were abnormally high in comparison with suburban rates.
