SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC
Pupils of the Cromwell Methodist Sunday School, their parents and friends, held a picnic at Lowburn last Saturday, which, despite rain in the closing stages, turned out a successful event. Feature of the day was a treasure hunt, which aroused keen competition in pursuit of the “ prize.” list. Mr and Mrs McLean, on whose property the picnic was held, were accorded a hearty vote of thanks for their hospitality at the end of the day.
