WATER FAILURE
Because of a break in the Mt. Fisa water race on Saturday, morning, people living in the area from the Eire Brigade Station at Cromwell to the back of the town were without water over the week-end. A gang of men working on Saturday afternoon and early Sunday, however, sealed the slip up and a full supply of water was received by Sunday evening.
