Weather Affects Play Although most of thfe rinks competing in the inter-club bowling tournament at the week-end experienced bad weather, all games, with the exception of those to be played at Bannockburn, took place. Results were:— Cromwell v. Omakau, at Omakau: — Storey, 15, v. Milne, 27; Jelley, 17, v. McLean, ID; Anderson, 25, v. Stevenson, 12; Campbell, 21, v. Mclntosh, 15). Cromwell v. Bannockburn, at Bannockburn: —All games postponed. Cromwell v. Roxburgh, at Boxbnrirh: —Austin, 2-3, v. Moore, 25; BearV- Camicntier, 0. Results in the Cromwell Bowling Club singles championships were; Henderson beat Campbell, Henderson beat Laurie, Jelley beat Nicol, Campbell beat Chisholm, Pearson heat Webb, Anderson beat Mooney, J. Smith beat 11. LJelley, Trevathen beat J. Gibson. 1 revathen beat Kusbatch.
