PUBLIC NOTICE

Re The Iniquitous PARLIAMENTARY PENSION BILL

Will those Electors of the Wallace Electorate who signed the Open Letter to the newspaper N.Z. Truth (a copy of which would have been sent to the Right Honourable Mr Peter Eraser, Premier, Mr S. C. Holland, Leader of th.e Opposition, and to Mr T. P. Macdonald, M.P. for Wallace) please take notice that it was discovered unfortunately, that the Bill had already passed both Houses of Parliament and become law. The sending of the letter would therefore have been quite useless as an objection. The only course now open is for each individual Elector to tell his Member of Parliament, when ho visits his Electorate, during the recess, exactly what they think of the Eighty (odd) members of Parliament, who would pass such a Bill. It will probably have little effect. The amazing thing is that these members of Parliament will have the audacity to return to their Electorates, but men- who would put such a measure through Parliament have “ HIDE ” enough for anything. Labour, Nationalists, and Independents are equally to blame for the passing of this evil Bill. B. V. SCANDRETT, For the Organisers of the Objection. P.O. Box 34, Queenstown.
