WELL-ACTED PLAY

♦ Cromwell Drama Club Noel Coward’s play, “Hay Fever,” was presented by the Cromwell Drama Club to a good audience in the Garrison Hall, Queenstown, on Wednesday, last week. A play somewhat difficult to produce, the production was well enacted and did credit to the actors and producer, Mrs Mary Middleton. Notable in the case were Mrs Austin (Mrs Bliss), the son and daughter, portrayed by Graham Carrington and Sheila Thomas, and Myra Arundel acted by Alma Jelley. Proceeds were in aid of the Food for Britain Fund, and the play was sponsored by the local branch of the W.D.F.F,
