Mr A. B, Pearson spent tie weekend in Cromwell as the guest of Mr and Mrs R. J. Lawrie. * * * Mr and Mrs Jim McGregor and Shirley, of Mosgiel, are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Sanders. ♦ * * Mr and Mrs Jack Laurie, of Tainui, Dunedin, were the guests of Mr and Mrs Dan Murray during the past few days. # # * Mr G. D. Liddell is relieving at the Bank of New Zealand during the absence of Mr A. Edmiston, who is on holiday leave. * * * Mr M. G. Stone, of the Lowburn Tennis Club, met Avith a painful accident during the last Avcek-end while playing tennis, Avhcn she broke a small bone in her foot. All tennis players in the district wish her a very speedy recovery.
