STRETCHING NET CURTAINS

If your net curtains have shrunk you can stretch them. Next time you wash them peg them on the line then run a brass rod through the other hem. The weight will do the necessary “ pulling.” When you take down the curtains pass an iron over them. When you rehang them they will probably be quite long enough. Most washing curtains shrink a little so when making them make allowance for this by giving them a little extra length.
