R.S.A. MEETING
A large number of returned servicemen was present at a meeting of the Arrowtown R.S.A. committee >on Friday evening, including the president of the Queenstown committee. Mr J. G. Douglas, president of the committee, extended a welcome to Mr O. Ferens, Dunedin secretary, who expressed the Dunedin executive’s thanks to the local committee, women and school children for their effort on Poppy Day. Mr Ferens gave a full review of rehabilitation activities. Arrangements had been made to hold a procession of veterans from the Boer War to 1939-47 on January 24 as part of the centennial celebrations in Dunedin. Mr Douglas expressed the thanks of those present to Mr Ferens for placing facts in connection with the R.S.A. activities before them.
