FIRE BRIGADE COMPETITION

The annual competition for the Curtis Cup (one-man hose and standpipe event) was held on Saturday. The winner was G. D. Cochrane, time, TOsec. G. Nelson 83 points, and J. Muir 86 points, were the next two best performances. There were five entries. Cochrane’s time was considered one of the best recorded.
