BOWLING AT CLYDE

One Game to Wanaka Three rinks from the Wanaka Bowling Club travelled to Clyde last Saturday to play the first match in the centre fixtures. Wanaka.won one game and were narrowly defeated in the other two. Results,-Wanaka names first, are:— R. Walker 25 v. J. Hallows 13; J. Perrow Ifi v. X. Paulin 17; R. Stevenson 22 v. W. Lopdell 13. In a match for the handicap singles button on the Wanaka green J. Perrow (scr) defeated T. Bridgeman (8) 23-16. In a match for the liandicap pairs buttons E. Richmond and H. Halliday (holders) defeated J. Walsh and H. Halliday 20-24.
