LOCAL BODY ELECTION
Little interest was shown by ratepayers over the election of Mayoi and councillors for the Arrowtown Borough. The only nomination for Mayor was that of Mr E. L. Thompson, and the required number of councillors only were nominated, and duly elected as follows: — r Messrs W. J. Shaw, J. W. Reed, E. J. Saunders, R. J. Cowie and J. W. Henderson re-elected, and Mr L. Stapp and Mr E. C. Patterson, new members.
