WANAKA TENNIS CLUB
New Officers Elected Mr L. Fa mint was elected president of the Wanaka Tennis Club for the ensuing year at the annual meeting held on October 22. A satisfactory state of affairs financially was disclosed from the balance sheet which was presented by the sec-retaiy-treasnrer. Opening day was on Labour Day when it was anticipated there would be a good attendance of members. The following office-bearers were elected for the coming year: — President, Mr L. Fa mint; vice-presi-dent, Mr D. McLeod; secretary and treasurer, Miss S. Scaife; committee — Mesdames H. Harris and D. McLeod, and Mr J. Gillespie; auditor, Mr R. Walker.
