Market Firmer Values showed a firming tendency at the sale held on October 21, when another large catalogue was submitted to the usual attendance of buyers. Prices generally may he quoted from par to 6d per Ih firmer in comparison with the previous sale held on October 7. The following is the range of prices:— Third broken, to per lb; second broken, to 80d; milky, to 774 d; summers, 44d to 45d; third spotty bucks, 68d to 78d; third spotty does, to llld; second spotty bucks, 108 d to 116 d; second spotty does 117 d to 120 d; weevilly, to 28$ d; fatty, to 76d; third blacks, to 30d; second blacks, to 40d; third fawns, to 30d; second fawns, to 40d; hareskins, to 20d; goatskins, to Is 3d; fallow deerskins, to 2s lid; first red deerskins to 4s sd; horsehair, to 33d.
