Queenstown War Memorial *'H£he architect, Mr A. G. A. Milne, of Invercargill, attended a meeting of the Queenstown War Memorial Committee "last Friday evening when arrangements for the sports pavilion and community centre proposals, which have been on display to the public, were finalised. Dr W. A, Anderson, chairman, presided. It was agreed to ask the Borough Council to forward the proposals to the Minister of Internal Affairs for approval in order to obtain the Government subsidy for the project. At a later date an appeal will bo made to the public to subscribe to the funds.
