ROTARY

The talk at the weekly meeting of the Queenstown Rotary Club was given by Vice-president B. A. Vercoe. It was confined to an interesting resume of the business of the Assembly held recently in Christchurch. The rotarians who attended the Assembly were impressed with the wonderful organisation of Rotary in the United States as rehearsed by Governor Charles Greenslade, who recently returned to New Zealand. , Mr W. Davies gave as the Overseas Toast, “ The Acer inton Club,” England. Mr W. Smith, the local postmaster, w ? as applauded for his wonderful effort in the local Health Stamp campaign. Mr J. Mcllwraith, of the Invercargill Club, was present.
