THIS WEEK’S RECIPE
DANISH COFFEE CAKE
4oz butter. 4oz sugar. 4oz flour. 2 eggs. 1 teaspoon baking poAvder. i teaspoon vanilla essence. Beat butter and sugar thoroughly to cream. Add beaten egg yolks then stiffly-beaten Avhites. Then add sifted flour and baking poAVder and vanilla essence. Put in greased loaf tin and sprinkle top Avith cinnamon sugar and Avalnuts, or chopped almonds. Bake about one hour in hot oven.
