Match Marks Closing Of Senior Table Tennis

The closing of the Arrow Senior Table Tennis Club took place on Monday, September 8. A match was held between Keith Saunder’s team and Jim Wilcox’s team, J. Wilcox’s team being the winners. After supper, provided by the women, the president, Mr J. Henderson, spoke of the club’s activities during the season. The way the club was expanding necessitated more tables and next season the club would have to play in the hall. On behalf of the players he thanked the secretary, Mr V. Hansen, for the energetic way ho had carried out his duties. Mr lan Cowic, on behalf of the dub, thanked Mr and Mrs Henderson ' forgiving the club the use of their room.
