QUEENSTOWN BEATS ARROWTOWN
Rugby Football Queenstown defeated Arrowtown by 33 points to three in a Rugby football match played at Queenstown last Saturday. While the two packs of forwards were very evenly matched, Queenstown backs showed more speed and.enterprise than the visitors, who could not combat the passing rushes set up. Queenstown has to meet Arrowtown once again in the final round of the competitions, and if successful, will be even in cup points with the Country club, and a play-off will be necessary. Mr M. T. Robertson was the referee.
