WIN FOR ARROWTOWN
Table Tennis Match An Arrowtown table tennis team beat a Queenstown junior team by 17 games to 12 in a match at Arrowtown last Saturday. Miss F. Hansen spoke on behalf of the Arrowtown team and Miss L. Davies for the Qucoustowli players. Mrs. J. Henderson, Arrowtown, and Mr T. Donaldson, Queenstown, were the referees. Mr R. Jenkins was the winner of the competition. Results were:— Queenstown*. Mixed doubles, 1; girls’ singles, 5; boys’ singles, 2; girls’ doubles, 2; boys’ doubles, 2; total, 12. Arrowtown: Mixed doubles, 6; girls’ singles, 3; boys’ singles, 5;. girls’ doubles, 2; boys’ doubles, 1; total, 17.
