Mr H. Wigley and Mr Gordon Elworthy, of Tiraaru, were visitors to Queenstown this week.
Mr and Mrs Bickley and family, of Invercargill, have been staying at the Wakatipu Flats.
Mr and Mrs Roy Atley, of Invercargill, are at Wakatipu Flats, Queenstown.
Mr and Mrs H. Matheson (Australia) have been the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Rowlands, Wye Creek.
Mr J. Houston, assistant general manager, Tourist Department, accompanied by Mr C. Humprey, district manager, Invercargill branch, have been visiting Queenstown.
The annual meeting of the Queenstown Progressive League, which previously had to be. postponed because of lack of attendance drew a representative gathering of townspeople on Tuesday, August 5.
