to press for an improvement before the season commences. It was resolved to ask the Wakatipu Skating- Chib if its members would officiate at a skating evening that the League contemplated running. It was also decided to offer prizes, which members present would donate, if a carnival could, be arrangetTby the club. It was decided to write to the general manager of the Mount Cook and Southern Lakes Tourist Company congratulating his company on the installation of the ski tow on Coronet Peak. It was also decided to forward a letter of thanks to the branch manager of this company for placing a car at the disposal of the League for inspecting skating areas.
