Alexandra will be up next Saturday, and a good day’s sport is expected. The Queenstown ladies, as usual, played excellent'games against Arrowtown. Arrowtown played very well and showed much improved form. Mrs. Smith and Miss R. Muir combined well in their doubles game. Mrs. Henderson, Arrowtown, avenged her defeat of a few weeks ago by defeating Mrs. Smith, Queenstown, by 31-29 after a very close game. J. Young, Arrowtown, has a nice style, v V. Hansen, Arrowtown, is showing great form this season. It was good to sec Queenstown represented by some of the younger players in Harry Walsh and John Mills. Welcome back to Miss C. Robertson and Jack Adams after their holidays. Plenty of games are in the offing for the Queenstown Club. A team of 29 from the St. Mary’s Club, Inverargill, are expected next month, and a game with the Winton Club is also in view. ; m The Juniors have been invited to travel to Arrowtown, where a game will be plaved with the Arrowtown Juiort. This trip will take place early next menth.
