ARROWTOWN FIRE BRIGADE
There was a full attendance of members at a meeting of the Arrowtown. Voluntary Fire Brigade, held in Mr Thompson’s rooms, on Tuesday, July 15. Superintendent Thompson was in the chair. It was decided to remain a voluntary fire brigade and not to join the Fire Brigade Union. It was also decided that the voluntary fire brigade fee to be paid, and a donation of £1 Is to the Food for Britain Fund was'agreed'to.
