Wakatipu Sub-Union Permission to play a visiting Nightcaps team on Saturday, July 12, and alteration of the draw to permit this was sought by the Queenstown Club in a letter to the Wakatipu Rugby Football Sub-union received at its meeting held at Arrowtown on Monday, July 7. Permission to play was granted with the understanding that a combined Queenstown-Arrowtown team would be fielded and that the gate would be split between the two teams. The flag match Queenstown v., Arrowtown is to be played at the conclusion of the flag fixtures. An amendement that permission be not granted was lost. Queenstown was also granted permission to travel to Dipton to play a match there. The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted and inward correspondence was received. Transfers were granted as follows: J. McKenzie (Pirates to Country), J. Scott (Amberley to Arrow). The meeting was presided over by the chairman (Mr C, M. Inglis) and the following members attended: Messrs W. E. Robins, W.'Hayward, W. McLean, K. Brown, lan Brown and C. Kitto. Apologies for absence were received from the secretary and Messrs Taylor and Sanders.
