At the monthly meeting sf the Queenstown Borough Council Cr D. W. Thompson reported to the council on his investigations regarding securing a suitable street machine capable of forming footpaths, doing light grader work and for use in cutting grass on the sports area and other borough reserves. Cr Thompson informed the eonncil that when he yraa in Dunedin a firm had supplied him with the data of each a machine and he had been informed that the Roxburgh Borough Council had a similar machine in operation. —-It was decided that council members visit Roxburgh and see this machine in action, before a purchase is made.
