... With Regret...

Owing to the serious shortage of electricity, and in an effort to co-operate with the authorities, the Publishers are compelled to cease printing the Mail in two colours. .A retrograde step in the early life of the Mail of this nature is regretted, but the position is such that all must co-operate to the fullest extent. Readers will appreciate that two colours require an additional process, and the Publishers are sure ? that readers will prefer this step to that of reducing the size of the paper. The two-colour printing will be resumed as soon as the restrictions on the use of electric power are lifted.
