POWER SUPPLY
New Unit Installed The Otago Central Electric Power Board, on Friday had a trial run with a new unit situated on the upper reaches of the Roaring Meg. This plant, on which workmen have been proceeding with for some considerable length of time will give an additional output of some two to three hundred kilowatts. This should help to supplement the present output, and provided ample water is available no drastic power cuts arc likely.
