NO POWER CUTS

Beneficial rain fell during the week which must have gladdened the hearts of local authorities, especially the Otago Central Electric Power Board, as the rain has done much to supplement the flow of rivers and creeks in the district in which power is harnessed for the Power Board’s supply. No cuts in power were necessary over this period, and radio fans who like to listen in to their resneetive sports had no complaints to make last Saturday. ;
